Lucius went looking for a good restaurant. He ended up meeting with a rather annoying Weasley and having a less-than-pleasant disucssion-- though he got a restaurant recommendation out of it.

Finally ready, Lucius returns to the Malfoy Manor to bring Narcissa to Annwn. After a jeweled gift, and the promise of seeing her son again, the pair head back to Annwn to their new home.

Lucius runs into a 'member of the family' out at night. He and Sirius have a long discussion about this and that and getting frustrated at each other before going their separate ways.

Lucius pays a visit to Severus' apothecary. Somewhat distressed at Severus' choice of an 'acceptable assistant', he manages to have a conversation with Severus, getting the man to say exactly what he was looking for.

Lucius attends the Feast. He meets with his son and has a discussion. Then he speaks with Sirius Black and surprisingly does not have the urge to kill him.

The Announcement makes Lucius upset. He will have to think of a plan to keep his family together, which may involve the murder of others.

Lucius went to Draco's home to have a talk with his son. The awkwardness was both expected and familiar-- there was much both sides could have said that they didn't. After all, what's the point of saying what's unnecessary?

After the talk with Draco, Lucius retired to his new home in Annwn. He had many things to think on, to do-- but the day had been tiring already.

Hunting down the Apothecary Draco mentioned in their conversation, Lucius ran into an old acquaintance. After buying a cauldron from Severus, Lucius found out very little he needed to know but decided to end the discussion for today.

The conversation with Severus left Lucius wanting something to calm himself. The subsequent discussion with the young Tracey Davis both intrigued and amused Lucius, more than he'd felt since entering Annwn. He looks forward to talking to her again.

Personal History: Born into a wealthy, well-known, Pure-blood family, Lucius grew up as the heir to the Malfoy name, and inherited all the nobility, class, and the looks to go with that illustrious name. He entered Hogwarts to be sorted into Slytherin (of course) and quickly rose in the ranks of his House to become one of the most well-known Slytherins by the time he made Prefect in his fifth year.

By the time he graduated from Hogwarts, the war had begun, and Lucius found himself swept up in the rise of Lord Voldemort, helping the Dark Lord for multiple reasons. First and foremost, it was expected of him as a Malfoy. Secondly, it seemed like a good idea to be on the winning side of any altercation.

During the war, Lucius married his Hogwarts Housemate, Narcissa Black, bringing her from one Pure-blood family into another. It was expected for Death Eaters to marry, to create children who would serve to continue on the traditions of the Dark Lord. However, Lucius found himself genuinely attached to Narcissa, as well as to their young son when he was born.

A year later, when Voldemort was defeated by the one year old Harry Potter, Lucius swept his family up and deposited them safely on the border of the Ministry of Magic's good graces, allowing only the slightest taint to touch their name. Through a series of bribes and carefully monitored explanations, the blonde managed to convince at least the important members of the world that the Imperius curse was a horrible spell that he'd been under all this time.

The next few years could arguably be classified as the best of Lucius' life. Between raising a son, keeping his contacts with the Ministry informed enough to prove that he wasn't a viable threat, spending time with his wife and the few associates who had survived relatively unscathed from the war, Lucius' existence was somewhat peaceful. He ingratiated the important members of the Wizarding community with his suave demeanor, even managing to gain a job at the Ministry and as a school governor of Hogwarts

Too soon, Draco went off to Hogwarts (after some debate with Narcissa about the merits of Hogwarts versus Durmstrang) and met the illustrious Harry Potter, and the world changed. The second war began, and Lucius lost his son to puberty.

The second war was not kind to Lucius. At a point in his life when the man finally began to realize the importance of the members of the family, rather than just the name, Lucius was thrown off course when the Dark Lord rose, even though he, himself, assisted in that rise. Between being regularly beaten and/or outsmarted by teenagers, spending time in Azkaban, having his wand taken and later broken, Lucius' faith in the Dark Lord which had already begun to waver, disappeared entirely in favor of protecting his family.

After the war, at the risk of being sent back to Azkaban (possibly with his family this time), Lucius conspired with several individuals to avoid that grisly fate. This involved a number of large payoffs, more than a few shady deals to help the new, struggling Ministry, and the end results primarily appeared in that the Malfoys avoided Azkaban and faded if not comfortably or gracefully, then at least gratefully into the background.
Losses during the war: Most of Lucius acquaintances either died or found themselves imprisoned after the war.
